37“At thisalso my hearttrembles,And leaps from its place.2“1Listenclosely to the athunder of His voice,And the rumbling that goesout from His mouth.3“Under the wholeheaven He lets it loose,And His 1lightning to the aends of the earth.4“After it, a voiceroars;He thunders with His majesticvoice,And He does not restrain1the lightnings when His voice is heard.5“Godathunders with His voicemarvelously,Doingbgreatthings which we do notknow.6“For to athe snow He says, ‘Fall on the earth,’And to the bdownpour of rain and the downpour of rains, ‘Be strong.’7“He aseals the hand of everyman,That ballmen may know His work.8“Then the beastgoes into its alairAnd dwells in its 1den.9“Out of the 1,asouthcomes the storm,And out of the 2north the cold.10“From the breath of Godaice is made,And the expanse of the waters is frozen.11“Also with moisture He aloads the thickcloud;He bscatterscthe cloud of His 1lightning.12“It changesdirection, turningaround by His guidance,That 1it may do whatever He acommands2itOn the bface of the inhabitedearth.13“Whether for 1,acorrection, or for bHis world,Or for clovingkindness, He causes it to 2happen.14“Giveear to this, O Job,Stand and carefullyconsider the wondrousdeeds of God.15“Do you know how Godestablishes them,And makes the 1lightning of His cloud to shine?16“Do you knowabout the layers of the thickclouds,The awonders of one 1,bperfect in knowledge,17You whosegarments are hot,When the landisquietbecause of the south wind?18“Can you, with Him, aspreadout the skies,Strong as a moltenmirror?19“Make us knowwhat we shall say to Him;We acannotarrangeour case because of darkness.20“Shall it be recounted to Him that I would speak?1If a mansaysa word, will He indeed be swallowed up?21“So now1men do not see the lightwhich is bright in the skies;But the wind has passed and cleared them.22“Out of the northcomesgoldensplendor;AroundGod is fearsomemajesty.23“The Almighty—awe cannotfind Him;He is bexalted in powerAnd cHe will not afflictdjustice and abundantrighteousness.24“Thereforemenafear Him;He does not bregardany who are wise of heart.”
