107Oh agivethanks to Yahweh, for bHe is good,For His lovingkindness endures forever.2Let athe redeemed of Yahwehsayso,Whom He has bredeemed from the hand of the adversary3And agathered from the lands,From the east and from the west,From the north and from the 1south.4They awandered in the wilderness along the way of the wasteland;They did not find an inhabitedbcity.5Hungry1and thirsty,Their asoulfainted within them.6Then they acriedout to Yahweh in their trouble;He delivered them out of their distresses.7He led them by a 1,astraightway,To go to ban inhabitedcity.8aLet them givethanks to Yahweh for His lovingkindness,And for His wondrousdeeds to the sons of men!9For He has asatisfied the 1thirstysoul,And the bhungrysoul He has filled with whatisgood.10There were those who ainhabiteddarkness and the shadowofdeath,bPrisoners in affliction and irons,11Because they had arebelled against the words of GodAnd bspurned the ccounsel of the MostHigh.12So He subdued their heart with labor;They stumbled and therewasanone to help.13Then they acriedout to Yahweh in their trouble;He saved them out of their distresses.14He abrought them out of darkness and the shadowofdeathAnd bbroke their bandsapart.15aLet them givethanks to Yahweh for His lovingkindness,And for His wondrousdeeds to the sons of men!16For He has ashattered the doors of bronzeAnd cut through the bars of iron.171Ignorantfools, because of their way of transgression,And abecause of their iniquities, were afflicted.18Their asoulabhorredall kinds of food,And they breached the cgates of death.19Then they criedout to Yahweh in their trouble;He saved them out of their distresses.20He asent His word and bhealed them,And cprovidedthemescape from their 1destructions.21aLet them givethanks to Yahweh for His lovingkindness,And for His wondrousdeeds to the sons of men!22Let them also offerasacrifices of thanksgiving,And brecount His works with joyfulsinging.23Those who agodown to the sea in ships,Who dobusiness on manywaters;24They have seen the works of Yahweh,And His wondrousdeeds in the deep.25He aspoke and set up a bstormywind,Which craisedup the waves1of the sea.26They wentup to the heavens, they wentdown to the depths;Their soulameltedaway in the1calamity.27They staggered and aswayed like a drunkenman,And all their wisdom was swallowedup.28Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble,And He brought them out of their distresses.29He acaused the storm to standstill,So that its waves were hushed.30Then they weregladbecause they were quiet,So He led them to their desiredhaven.31aLet them givethanks to Yahweh for His lovingkindness,And for His bwondrousdeeds to the sons of men!32Let them aexalt Him also bin the assembly of the people,And cpraise Him at the seat of the elders.33He 1,amakesrivers into a 2wildernessAnd springs of water into a thirstyground;34A afruitfulland into a bsaltwaste,Because of the evil of those who inhabited it.35He amakes a wilderness into a pool of waterAnd a dryland into springs of water;36And there He causes the hungry to inhabit,So that they may establishaan inhabitedcity,37And sowfields and aplantvineyards,And produce a fruitfulharvest.38Also He blesses them and they amultiplygreatly,And He bdoes not let their cattledecrease.39But when they adecrease and are bboweddownThroughoppression, evil, and sorrow,40He apourscontempt upon noblesAnd bmakes them wandercin a pathless void.41But He asets the needy1securelyonhigh away from affliction,And bmakeshisfamilies like a flock.42The auprightsee it and areglad;But allbunrighteousnessshuts its mouth.43Who is awise? Let him keepthesethings,And carefullyconsider the blovingkindnesses of Yahweh.
