Deuteronomy 1:10

And He brought him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your seed be.”

And when it came to rest, he said, “Return, O Yahweh, To the myriad thousands of Israel.”

‘May Yahweh, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand-fold more than you are and bless you, just as He has promised you!

“Your fathers went down to Egypt seventy persons in all, and now Yahweh your God has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.

“So the elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him,

“And you shall answer and say before Yahweh your God, ‘My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt and sojourned there, few in number; but there he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.

“Then you shall remain few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you did not listen to the voice of Yahweh your God.

Also He blesses them and they multiply greatly, And He does not let their cattle decrease.

“Look to Abraham your father And to Sarah who brought you forth through labor pains; When he was but one I called him, Then I blessed him and multiplied him.”

“I made you numerous like plants of the field. Then you grew up, became tall, and came into the age for fine ornaments; your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown. Yet you were naked and bare.
