Matthew 5:6

A Psalm of David. When he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land without water.

For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.

What the wicked dreads will come upon him, But the desire of the righteous will be granted.

He who pursues righteousness and lovingkindness Finds life, righteousness, and glory.

“For I satisfy the weary soul and fill up every soul who wastes away.”
