  • 2 Sam 18:18Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and set up for himself a pillar which is in the King’s Valley, for he had said, “I have no son to preserve my name.” So he named the pillar after his own name, and it is called Absalom’s Monument to this day.

  • 2 Sam 20:8They were at the large stone which is in Gibeon, and Amasa came to meet them. Now Joab was dressed in his military attire, and over it was a belt with a sword in its sheath fastened at his waist; and as he came out, it fell out.
  • 2 Sam 20:10But Amasa was not on guard against the sword which was in Joab’s hand so he struck him in the belly with it and poured out his inward parts on the ground, and did not strike him again, and he died. Then Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba the son of Bichri.
  • 2 Sam 21:7But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the oath of Yahweh which was between them, between David and Saul’s son Jonathan.

  • 2 Sam 23:16So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines and drew water from the well of Bethlehem which was by the gate, and carried it and brought it to David. Nevertheless, he was not willing to drink it, but poured it out to Yahweh;

  • 1 Kgs 6:22So he overlaid the whole house with gold, until all the house was finished. Also the whole altar which was by the inner sanctuary he overlaid with gold.
  • 1 Kgs 7:3And it was paneled with cedar above the side chambers which were on the 45 pillars, 15 in each row.
  • 1 Kgs 7:17There were nets of network and twisted threads of chainwork for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital and seven for the other capital.
  • 1 Kgs 7:18So he made the pillars, and two rows around on the one network to cover the capitals which were on the top of the pomegranates; and so he did for the other capital.
  • 1 Kgs 7:19Now the capitals which were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily design, four cubits.
  • 1 Kgs 7:20And there were capitals on the two pillars, even right above the rounded projection which was on the one side of the network; and the pomegranates numbered two hundred in rows around both capitals.
  • 1 Kgs 7:29and on the borders which were between the frames were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the frames there was a pedestal above, and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.

  • 1 Kgs 7:48Solomon also made all the furniture which was in the house of Yahweh: the golden altar and the golden table on which was the bread of the Presence;
  • 1 Kgs 8:4And they brought up the ark of Yahweh and the tent of meeting and all the holy utensils, which were in the tent, and the priests and the Levites brought them up.
  • 1 Kgs 8:9There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses laid there at Horeb, where Yahweh cut a covenant with the sons of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
  • 1 Kgs 8:20And Yahweh has established His word which He spoke; and I have been established in place of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as Yahweh promised, and have built the house for the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
  • 1 Kgs 8:21And there I have set a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of Yahweh, which He cut with our fathers when He brought them from the land of Egypt.”

  • 1 Kgs 8:25So now, O Yahweh, the God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You have promised him, saying, ‘You shall not have a man cut off from before Me who is to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your sons keep their way to walk as you have walked before Me.’
  • 1 Kgs 8:26So now, O God of Israel, let Your word truly endure which You have spoken to Your servant, my father David.
  • 1 Kgs 8:27But will God truly dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You; how much less this house which I have built!
  • 1 Kgs 8:28Yet have regard to the prayer of Your slave and to his supplication, O Yahweh my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your slave prays before You today;
  • 1 Kgs 8:29that Your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, ‘My name shall be there,’ to listen to the prayer which Your slave shall pray toward this place.
  • 1 Kgs 8:34then listen in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers.
  • 1 Kgs 8:36then listen in heaven and forgive the sin of Your slaves and of Your people Israel; indeed, teach them the good way in which they should walk. And give rain on Your land, which You have given to Your people for an inheritance.
