1 Samuel 12:17

Then Samuel said, “Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to Yahweh for you.”

But the thing was evil in the sight of Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” And Samuel prayed to Yahweh.

“So now, behold, the king whom you have chosen, whom you have asked for, and behold, Yahweh has set a king over you.

Then all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to Yahweh your God, so that we may not die, for we have added to all our sins this evil by asking for ourselves a king.”

Like snow in summer and like rain in harvest, So glory is not fitting for a fool.
