Blessed Is the One Whom You Choose

To You, there will be silence and praise in Zion, O God,And to You the ^avow will be paid.²O You who hear prayer,To You ^aall flesh comes.³^aWords of iniquity prevail against me;As for our transgressions, You ^batone for them.⁴How ^ablessed is the one whom You ^bchoose and bring near to YouThat he would dwell in Your courts.We will be ^csatisfied with the goodness of Your house,Your holy temple.⁵By ¹^,^afearsome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O ^bGod of our salvation,You who are the trust of all the ^cends of the earth and of the farthest ²^,^dsea;⁶Who ^aestablishes the mountains by His strength,Being ^bgirded with might;⁷Who ^astills the rumbling of the seas,The rumbling of their waves,And the ^btumult of the peoples.⁸They who inhabit the ^aends of the earth are in fear on account of Your signs;You make ¹the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.⁹You visit the earth and ^acause it to overflow;You greatly ^benrich it;The ¹^,^cstream of God is full of water;You establish their ^dgrain, for thus You establish ²the earth.¹⁰You water its furrows abundantly,You smooth its ridges,You soften it ^awith showers,You bless its growth.¹¹You crown the year ¹with Your ^agoodness,And Your ²paths ^bdrip with richness.¹²^aThe pastures of the wilderness drip,And the ^bhills gird themselves with rejoicing.¹³The meadows are ^aclothed with flocksAnd the valleys are ^bcovered with grain;They ^cmake a loud shout, indeed, they sing.
