Deuteronomy 32:2

“After my words they did not speak again, And my speech dropped on them.

You water its furrows abundantly, You smooth its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.

May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.

For I give you sound learning; Do not forsake my instruction.

“So now, hear the word of Yahweh: you are saying, ‘You shall not prophesy against Israel, nor shall you drip out words against the house of Isaac.’

Then the remnant of Jacob Will be among many peoples Like dew from Yahweh, Like showers on vegetation Which do not hope for man Or wait for the sons of men.
