Psalm 106:45

So Yahweh relented concerning the harm which He said He would do to His people.

Then Yahweh raised up judges who saved them from the hands of those who plundered them.

For the choir director. A Psalm of David. When Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the abundance of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.

Answer me, O Yahweh, for Your lovingkindness is good; According to the abundance of Your compassion, turn to me,

Look to the covenant; For the dark places of the land are full of the haunts of violence.

Return, O Yahweh; how long will it be? And be sorry for Your slaves.

He has remembered His covenant forever, The word which He commanded for a thousand generations,

Deal with Your slave according to Your lovingkindness And teach me Your statutes.

Who remembered us in our low estate, For His lovingkindness endures forever,

Then His people remembered the ancient days, of Moses. Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them,

but if that nation against which I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent concerning the calamity I planned to do against it.

For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion According to His abundant lovingkindness.

Yahweh relented concerning this. “This too shall not be,” said Lord Yahweh.

To show mercy toward our fathers, And to remember His holy covenant,
