Matthew 8:20

Above them the birds of the heavens dwell; They give forth their voices among the branches.

“But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—then He *said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.”

“For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

And He answered and said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,

“The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, saying, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

“For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay each one according to his deeds.

“Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

And as they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”

but I say to you that Elijah already came, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wished. So also the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.”

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

“For just as the lightning comes from the east and appears even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

And Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And He *said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

“And no one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;

“Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, set His seal.”

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.

“What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?

The crowd then answered Him, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how do You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

Therefore when he had gone out, Jesus *said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in Him;

and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

But Peter said, “By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and unclean.”
