• 2 Sam 18:18Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and set up for himself a pillar which is in the King’s Valley, for he had said, “I have no son to preserve my name.” So he named the pillar after his own name, and it is called Absalom’s Monument to this day.
• 2 Sam 18:21Then Joab said to the Cushite, “Go, tell the king what you have seen.” So the Cushite bowed to Joab and ran.
• 2 Sam 18:28And Ahimaaz called and said to the king, “Peace!” And he prostrated himself before the king with his face to the ground. And he said, “Blessed is Yahweh your God, who has delivered up the men who lifted their hands against my lord the king.”

• 1 Kgs 1:45“And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon, and they have come up from there with gladness, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the sound which you have heard.
• 1 Kgs 1:48“And also, the king said thus, ‘Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who has granted one to sit on my throne today while my own eyes see it.’”

• 1 Kgs 2:27So Solomon drove Abiathar away from being priest to Yahweh, in order to fulfill the word of Yahweh, which He had spoken concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
• 1 Kgs 2:31And the king said to him, “Do as he has spoken and fall upon him and bury him, that you may remove from me and from my father’s house the blood which Joab shed without cause.
• 1 Kgs 2:32“And Yahweh will return his blood on his own head, because he fell upon two men more righteous and better than he and killed them with the sword, but my father David did not know it: Abner the son of Ner, commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, commander of the army of Judah.
• 1 Kgs 2:43“Why then have you not kept the oath of Yahweh, and the command which I have commanded you?”
• 1 Kgs 2:44The king also said to Shimei, “You know all the evil which you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore Yahweh shall return your evil on your own head.

• 1 Kgs 5:3“You know that David my father was unable to build a house for the name of Yahweh his God because of the wars which surrounded him, until Yahweh put them under the soles of his feet.
• 1 Kgs 5:5“So behold, I intend to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, as Yahweh spoke to David my father, saying, ‘Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he will build the house for My name.’
• 1 Kgs 5:7Now it happened, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he was very glad and said, “Blessed be Yahweh today, who has given to David a wise son over this great people.”
• 1 Kgs 5:8So Hiram sent word to Solomon, saying, “I have heard the message which you have sent me; I will do what you desire concerning the cedar and cypress timber.
• 1 Kgs 5:9“My servants will bring them down from Lebanon to the sea; and I will make them into rafts to go by sea to the place where you direct me, and I will have them broken up there, and you shall carry them away. Then you shall accomplish my desire by giving food to my household.”
• 1 Kgs 5:16besides Solomon’s 3,300 chief deputies who were over the project and who ruled over the people who were doing the work.
• 1 Kgs 6:2As for the house which King Solomon built for Yahweh, its length was sixty cubits and its width twenty cubits and its height thirty cubits.
• 1 Kgs 6:12“Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in My statutes and do My judgments and keep all My commandments by walking in them, then I will establish My word with you which I spoke to David your father.
• 1 Kgs 6:22So he overlaid the whole house with gold, until all the house was finished. Also the whole altar which was by the inner sanctuary he overlaid with gold.
• 1 Kgs 7:3And it was paneled with cedar above the side chambers which were on the 45 pillars, 15 in each row.
• 1 Kgs 7:8Now his house where he was to live, the other court inward from the hall, was of the same workmanship. He also made a house like this hall for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom Solomon had married.
• 1 Kgs 7:17There were nets of network and twisted threads of chainwork for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital and seven for the other capital.
• 1 Kgs 7:18So he made the pillars, and two rows around on the one network to cover the capitals which were on the top of the pomegranates; and so he did for the other capital.
• 1 Kgs 7:19Now the capitals which were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily design, four cubits.
• 1 Kgs 7:20And there were capitals on the two pillars, even right above the rounded projection which was on the one side of the network; and the pomegranates numbered two hundred in rows around both capitals.
• 1 Kgs 7:29and on the borders which were between the frames were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the frames there was a pedestal above, and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.
• 1 Kgs 7:40And Hiram made the lavers and the shovels and the bowls. So Hiram completed doing all the work that he did for King Solomon in the house of Yahweh:
• 1 Kgs 7:41the two pillars and the two bowls of the capitals which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars,
• 1 Kgs 7:42and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network to cover the two bowls of the capitals which were on the tops of the pillars;
• 1 Kgs 7:45and the pots and the shovels and the bowls; and all these utensils which Hiram made for King Solomon in the house of Yahweh were of polished bronze.
• 1 Kgs 7:48Solomon also made all the furniture which was in the house of Yahweh: the golden altar and the golden table on which was the bread of the Presence;
• 1 Kgs 8:4And they brought up the ark of Yahweh and the tent of meeting and all the holy utensils, which were in the tent, and the priests and the Levites brought them up.
• 1 Kgs 8:9There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses laid there at Horeb, where Yahweh cut a covenant with the sons of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
• 1 Kgs 8:15And he said, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David and has fulfilled it by His hand, saying,
• 1 Kgs 8:20“And Yahweh has established His word which He spoke; and I have been established in place of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as Yahweh promised, and have built the house for the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
• 1 Kgs 8:21“And there I have set a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of Yahweh, which He cut with our fathers when He brought them from the land of Egypt.”
• 1 Kgs 8:24who have kept with Your servant, my father David, that which You have promised him; indeed, You have promised with Your mouth and have fulfilled it by Your hand as it is this day.
• 1 Kgs 8:25“So now, O Yahweh, the God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You have promised him, saying, ‘You shall not have a man cut off from before Me who is to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your sons keep their way to walk as you have walked before Me.’
• 1 Kgs 8:26“So now, O God of Israel, let Your word truly endure which You have spoken to Your servant, my father David.
• 1 Kgs 8:27“But will God truly dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You; how much less this house which I have built!
• 1 Kgs 8:28“Yet have regard to the prayer of Your slave and to his supplication, O Yahweh my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your slave prays before You today;
• 1 Kgs 8:29that Your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, ‘My name shall be there,’ to listen to the prayer which Your slave shall pray toward this place.
• 1 Kgs 8:30“And listen to the supplication of Your slave and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place; listen in heaven Your dwelling place; listen and forgive.
• 1 Kgs 8:31“If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath, and he comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this house,
• 1 Kgs 8:33“When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy, because they have sinned against You, if they turn to You again and confess Your name and pray and make supplication to You in this house,
• 1 Kgs 8:34then listen in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers.
• 1 Kgs 8:36then listen in heaven and forgive the sin of Your slaves and of Your people Israel; indeed, teach them the good way in which they should walk. And give rain on Your land, which You have given to Your people for an inheritance.
• 1 Kgs 8:39then listen in heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive and act and give to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know, for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men,
• 1 Kgs 8:40that they may fear You all the days that they live upon the face of the land which You have given to our fathers.
• 1 Kgs 8:41“Also concerning the foreigner who is not of Your people Israel, if he comes from a far country for Your name’s sake
• 1 Kgs 8:43listen in heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name to fear You, as do Your people Israel, and to know that Your name is called upon this house which I have built.
• 1 Kgs 8:44“When Your people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatever way You shall send them, and they pray to Yahweh toward the city which You have chosen and the house which I have built for Your name,
• 1 Kgs 8:46“When they sin against You (for there is no man who does not sin) and You are angry with them and give them over to an enemy, so that they take them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;
• 1 Kgs 8:48and if they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies who have taken them captive, and pray to You toward their land which You have given to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and the house which I have built for Your name;
• 1 Kgs 8:50and forgive Your people who have sinned against You and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You, and give them over as objects of compassion before those who have taken them captive, that they may have compassion on them
• 1 Kgs 8:51(for they are Your people and Your inheritance which You have brought forth from Egypt, from the midst of the iron furnace),
• 1 Kgs 8:56“Blessed be Yahweh, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised; not one promise has failed of all His good promises, which He promised by the hand of Moses His servant.
