1 Kings 3:13

So King Solomon became greater than all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.

And Yahweh highly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel, and granted to him royal majesty which had not been on any king before him in Israel.

In that night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask what I should give to you.”

“Did not Solomon king of Israel sin regarding these things? Yet among the many nations there was no king like him, and he was loved by his God, and God gave him to be king over all Israel; nevertheless the foreign women caused even him to sin.

a man to whom God gives riches and wealth and honor so that his soul lacks nothing of all that he desires; yet God does not empower him to eat from them, for a foreigner eats from them. This is vanity and a sickening evil.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
