  • Acts 13:37but He whom God raised did not see corruption.
  • Acts 13:43Now when the meeting of the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and of the God-fearing proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, were urging them to continue in the grace of God.
  • Acts 13:44And the next Sabbath, nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of the Lord.
  • Acts 13:46Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
  • Acts 14:11And when the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have become like men and have come down to us.”

  • Acts 16:25But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

  • Acts 17:13But when the Jews of Thessalonica found out that the word of God had been proclaimed by Paul in Berea also, they came there as well, shaking up and disturbing the crowds.
