Acts 7:42

“So I released them over to the stubbornness of their heart, That they would walk in their own devices.

“And they will spread them out to the sun, the moon, and to all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served, and which they have walked after and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered or buried; they will be as dung on the face of the ground.

“Did you present Me with sacrifices and grain offerings in the wilderness for forty years, O house of Israel?

“It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

“This man led them out, doing wonders and signs in the land of Egypt and in the Red Sea and in the wilderness for forty years.

“The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and lifted up the people during their stay in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm He led them out from it.

“Therefore watch out, so that the thing spoken of in the Prophets may not come upon you:
