Isaiah 60:7

Woe is me, for I sojourn in Meshech, For I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

“I am black but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, Like the tents of Kedar, Like the curtains of Solomon.

In that day there will be an altar to Yahweh in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to Yahweh near its border.

Thus Yahweh will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yahweh in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and they will make a vow to Yahweh and pay it.

For thus the Lord said to me, “In a year, as a hired man would count it, all the glory of Kedar will end;

And her gain and her harlot’s wages will be set apart to Yahweh; it will not be treasured up or hoarded, but her gain will become sufficient food and choice attire for those who inhabit the presence of Yahweh.

Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voices, The villages where Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing aloud, Let them shout for joy from the tops of the mountains.

Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And make them glad in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”

Lord Yahweh, who gathers the banished of Israel, declares, “Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered.”

“For on My holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel,” declares Lord Yahweh, “there the whole house of Israel, all of them, will serve Me in the land; there I will accept them, and there I will seek your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your holy things.

“Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, they were customers at your hand for lambs, rams, and goats; for these, they were your customers.

“From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My scattered ones, Will bring My offerings.

‘And I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the desirable things of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says Yahweh of hosts.

For thus says Yahweh of hosts, “After glory He has sent Me against the nations which have taken you as spoil, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

‘So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.’

Then it will be that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
