61The aSpirit of LordYahweh is upon meBecauseYahweh has anointed meTo bbringgoodnews to the 1,cafflicted;He has sent me to dbindup the brokenhearted,To eproclaimrelease to captivesAnd 2freedom to prisoners,2To aproclaim the favorableyear of YahwehAnd the bday of vengeance of our God,To ccomfortall who mourn,3To agrant those who mourninZion,Giving them a headdressinsteadofashes,The boil of rejoicinginsteadofmourning,The mantle of praiseinsteadof a spirit of fainting.So they will be called1,coaks of righteousness,The planting of Yahweh, that He may show forth His beautifulglory.4Then they will arebuild the ancientwasteplaces;They will raiseup the formerdesolations;And they will make new the ruinedcities,The desolations from generationtogeneration.5aStrangers will stand and pasture your flocks,And 1foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers.6But you will be called the apriests of Yahweh;You will be spoken of asbministers of our God.You will eat the cwealth of nations,And in their glories you will boast.7Insteadof your ashameyou will have abdoubleportion,And instead ofdishonor they will shoutforjoy over their portion.Therefore they will possess a doubleportion in their land;cEverlastinggladness will be theirs.8For I, Yahweh, alovejustice,I haterobbery1in the burntoffering;And in truth I will give them their recompenseAnd cut an beverlastingcovenant with them.9Then their seed will be known among the nations,And their offspring in the midst of the peoples.All who see them will recognize themBecause they are the aseedwhomYahweh has blessed.10I will arejoicegreatly in Yahweh;My soul will rejoice in bmy God,For He has cclothed me with garments of salvation,He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,As a bridegroomdecks himself with a headdress,And das a brideadorns herself with her jewels.11For as the aearthbringsforth its branches,And as a garden causes the thingssown in it to branchout,SoLordYahweh will bcause crighteousness and praiseTo branchoutbeforeall the nations.
