Isaiah 51:2

Therefore thus says Yahweh, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall not now be ashamed, and now his face shall not turn pale;

“But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Seed of Abraham My friend,

“Your first father sinned, And your spokesmen have transgressed against Me.

“The smallest one will become a clan, And the miniscule one a mighty nation. I, Yahweh, will hasten it in its time.”

For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us And Israel does not recognize us. You, O Yahweh, are our Father, Our Redeemer from everlasting is Your name.

“Son of man, they who inhabit these waste places in the land of Israel are saying, ‘Abraham was only one, yet he possessed the land; so to us who are many the land has been given as a possession.’

as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you”—in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.
