Psalm 84:2

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?

A Psalm of David. When he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land without water.

My flesh and my heart fail, But God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.

My soul is crushed with longing For Your judgments at all times.

My soul fails with longing for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.

Answer me quickly, O Yahweh, my spirit wastes away; Do not hide Your face from me, Or I will become like those who go down to the pit.
