Psalm 146:9

“He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows love for the sojourner by giving him food and clothing.

To give justice to the orphan and the oppressed, So that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror.

A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.

Yahweh helps up the afflicted; He brings down the wicked to the ground.

Yahweh will tear down the house of the proud, But He will cause the boundary of the widow to stand.

Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
