Leviticus 20:9

“And he who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.

‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

He who curses his father or his mother, His lamp will go out in the midst of darkness.

“They have treated father and mother with contempt within you. The sojourner they have oppressed in your midst; the fatherless and the widow they have mistreated in you.

“For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’

“For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, is to be put to death’;
