Exodus 21:17

‘If there is anyone who curses his father or his mother, he shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother. His bloodguiltiness is upon him.

‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

He who curses his father or his mother, His lamp will go out in the midst of darkness.

There is a generation that curses its father And does not bless its mother.

“I gave them My statutes and made them know My judgments, which, if a man does them, he will live by them.

“For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’

“For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, is to be put to death’;
