Lamentations 1:10

A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have come into Your inheritance; They have defiled Your holy temple; They have laid Jerusalem in ruins.

Our holy and glorious house, Where our fathers praised You, Has been burned by fire; And all our precious things have become a waste place.

There is a sound of those who flee and escape from the land of Babylon, To declare in Zion the vengeance of Yahweh our God, Vengeance for His temple.

We are ashamed because we have heard reproach; Dishonor has covered our faces, For strangers have entered The holy places of the house of Yahweh.
