Jeremiah 50:30

If I sharpen My flashing sword, And My hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance on My adversaries, And I will repay those who hate Me.

O daughter of Babylon, you devastated one, How blessed will be the one who repays you With the recompense with which you have recompensed us.

The oracle concerning Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz beheld.

“Therefore, her young men will fall in her open squares, And all the men of war will be silenced in that day,” declares Yahweh of hosts.

“They will fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, And pierced through in their streets.”
