Jeremiah 25:24

The oracle about Arabia. In the thickets of Arabia you must spend the night, O caravans of Dedanites.

It is He who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth utterly formless.

“Before I formed you in the innermost parts I knew you, And before you came out from the womb I set you apart; I have given you as a prophet to the nations.”

and all the foreign people, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines (even Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod),

That which came as the word of Yahweh to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations.

“Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all Arabia, Libya, and the people of the land that is in covenant will fall with them by the sword.”

“They will be desolate In the midst of the desolated lands; And her cities will be In the midst of the cities laid waste.

therefore thus says Lord Yahweh, “Surely in the fire of My jealousy I have spoken against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession with wholehearted gladness and with scorn of soul, to drive it out for plunder.”
