Isaiah 25:9

Hope in Yahweh; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Hope in Yahweh.

Yahweh has done great things for us; We are glad.

And I will wait for Yahweh who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; and I will hope for Him.

Therefore Yahweh waits with longing to be gracious to you, And therefore He is on high to have compassion on you. For Yahweh is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who wait for Him.

O Yahweh, be gracious to us; we have hoped in You. Be their strength every morning, Our salvation also in the time of distress.

For Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh is our lawgiver, Yahweh is our king; He will save us—

It will flourish profusely And rejoice with rejoicing and shout of joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, The majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of Yahweh, The majesty of our God.

“But now, O Yahweh our God, save us from his hand that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are Yahweh, You alone.”

Get yourself up on a high mountain, O Zion, bearer of good news, Raise up your voice powerfully, O Jerusalem, bearer of good news; Raise it up, do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”

“You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, And the storm will scatter them; But you will rejoice in Yahweh; You will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

“Kings will be your guardians, And their princesses your nurses. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth And lick the dust of your feet; And you will know that I am Yahweh; Those who hope in Me will not be put to shame.

Surely, thus says Yahweh, “Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of the tyrant will be granted escape; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons.

Indeed, Yahweh will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And her wilderness He will make like Eden, And her desert like the garden of Yahweh; Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and sound of a melody.

I will rejoice greatly in Yahweh; My soul will rejoice in my God, For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a headdress, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

For from ancient times they have not heard or given ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.

“But be joyful and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing And her people for joy.

Yahweh is good to those who hope in Him, To the soul who seeks Him.

But as for me, I will watch expectantly for Yahweh; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

In that day it will be said to Jerusalem: “Do not fear, O Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp.
