Isaiah 36:22

Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and seized them.

After these acts of faithfulness Sennacherib king of Assyria came and invaded Judah and encamped against the fortified cities, and thought to break into them for himself.

Thus says Lord Yahweh of hosts, “Come, go to this steward, To Shebna, who is in charge of the royal household,

“Then it will be in that day, That I will summon My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,

And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem to King Hezekiah with a heavy military force. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool on the highway of the fuller’s field.

Yet the king and all his servants who heard all these words were not in dread, nor did they tear their garments.
