34Drawnear, aO nations, to hear; and payattention, O peoples!bLet the earthhear, as well as its fullness, the world and all that springs from it.2For the aindignation of Yahweh is againstall the nations,And Hiswrathagainstall their 1hosts;He has 2,bdevoted them to destruction;He has given them over to cslaughter.3So their slain will be acastout,And their corpses1will giveoff their bstench,And the mountains will 2be drenched with their cblood.4And aall the host of heaven will rotaway,And the bsky will be rolledup like a scroll;All their hosts will also witherawayAs a leafwithers from the vine,Or as onewithers from the figtree.5For aMy swordissatiated in heaven;Behold, it shall descend for judgment upon bEdomAnd upon the people whom I have cdevoted to destruction.6The sword of Yahweh is filled with blood;It is 1sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,With the fat of the kidneys of rams.For Yahweh has a sacrifice in aBozrahAnd a greatslaughter in the land of bEdom.
