Exodus 25:8

“I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God.

‘Take from among you a contribution to Yahweh; whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as a contribution to Yahweh: gold, silver, and bronze,

‘Moreover, I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not loathe you.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said to the sons of Reuben and to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Manasseh, “Today we know that Yahweh is in our midst because you have not committed this unfaithful act against Yahweh; so then you have delivered the sons of Israel from the hand of Yahweh.”

“And I will dwell among the sons of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.”

“Our fathers had the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, just as He, who spoke to Moses, directed him to make it according to the pattern which he had seen.

Or what agreement has a sanctuary of God with idols? For we are a sanctuary of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Now even the first covenant had requirements of divine worship and the earthly sanctuary.

For there was a tabernacle prepared: the first part, in which were the lampstand and the table and the sacred bread, which is called the holy place.
