Amos 5:15

For the choir director. El Shoshannim. Eduth. Of Asaph. A Psalm. O Shepherd of Israel, give ear, You who guide Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!

Hate evil, you who love Yahweh, Who keeps the souls of His holy ones; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

And Daniel sought of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego over the administration of the province of Babylon, while Daniel was at the king’s court.

They hate him who reproves in the gate, And they abhor him who speaks with integrity.

Yahweh relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” said Yahweh.

So the captain came near to him and said to him, “How is it that you are deeply sleeping? Arise, call on your god. Perhaps your god will be concerned about us so that we will not perish.”

Seek Yahweh, All you humble of the earth Who have worked His justice; Seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will be hidden In the day of Yahweh’s anger.

So you will return and see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.
