2 Kings 8:12

And Yahweh said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus, and you will arrive and anoint Hazael king over Aram;

“And it will be that the one who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall put to death, and the one who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall put to death.

In those days Yahweh began to cut off portions from Israel; and Hazael struck them throughout the territory of Israel:

Then Hazael king of Aram went up and fought against Gath and captured it, and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.

Now Hazael king of Aram had oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.

Then Menahem struck Tiphsah and all who were in it and its borders from Tirzah, because they did not open to him; therefore he struck it and ripped up all its pregnant women.

How blessed will be the one who seizes and dashes your infants Against the cliff.

And their bows will dash the young men to pieces, They will not even have compassion on the fruit of the womb, Nor will their eye pity children.

Samaria will be held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword; Their infants will be dashed in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open.
