Romans 9:7

So God said to Abraham, “Do not be distressed because of the boy and your maidservant; whatever Sarah tells you, listen to her voice, for through Isaac your seed shall be named.

and do not suppose that you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father’; for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham.

They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus *said to them, “If you are Abraham’s children, you would do the deeds of Abraham.

But the son by the servant-woman had been born according to the flesh, while the son by the free woman through the promise.

And you brothers, in accordance with Isaac, are children of promise.

to whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.”
