Romans 4:13

“And we proclaim to you the good news of the promise made to the fathers,

That is, the children of the flesh are not the children of God, but the children of the promise are considered as seed.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to promise.

But the one whose genealogy is not traced from them had collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed the one who had the promises.

By faith Noah, being warned about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
