Psalm 76:5

Who is this King of glory? Yahweh strong and mighty, Yahweh mighty in battle.

You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew.

I again saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift and the battle is not to the mighty, and neither is bread to the wise nor riches to the discerning nor favor to men who know; for time and misfortune overtake them all.

“Hear Me, you stubborn of heart, Who are far from righteousness.

The mighty men of Babylon have ceased fighting; They inhabit the strongholds; Their might is dried up; They are becoming like women; Their dwelling places are set on fire; The bars of her gates are broken.

“When they become heated up, I will set before them their feast And make them drunk, that they may exult And may sleep a perpetual sleep And not wake up,” declares Yahweh.

“I will make her princes and her wise men drunk, Her governors, her prefects, and her mighty men, That they may sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake up,” Declares the King, whose name is Yahweh of hosts.

“And you will be satisfied at My table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all the men of war,” declares Lord Yahweh.

Your shepherds are sleeping, O king of Assyria; Your mighty ones are lying down. Your people are scattered on the mountains, And there is no one to regather them.
