Psalm 7:15

The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made; In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.

They have set a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down; They dug a pit before me; They themselves have fallen into the midst of it. Selah.

The arrogant have dug pits for me, Men who are not in accord with Your law.

Let the wicked fall into their own nets, As for myself—meanwhile, I am passing by.

His own iniquities will capture him who is the wicked one, And with the cords of his sin he will be held fast.

The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, But the treacherous will be captured by their own desire.

He who earnestly seeks good seeks favor, But he who searches for evil, evil will come to him.

He who leads the upright astray in an evil way Will himself fall into his own pit, But the blameless will inherit good.

He who digs a pit may fall into it, and a serpent may bite him who breaks through a wall.
