Psalm 48:1

“For this reason You are great, O Lord Yahweh; for there is none like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

“I call upon Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.

“But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”

I call upon Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High.

For Yahweh is a great God And a great King above all gods,

For great is Yahweh and greatly to be praised; He is more fearsome than all gods.

Yahweh is great in Zion, And He is exalted above all the peoples.

From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of Yahweh is to be praised.

For Yahweh has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation.

For I know that Yahweh is great And that our Lord is greater than all gods.

Great is Yahweh, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.

Great is our Lord and abundant in power; His discernment is infinite.

There is none like You, O Yahweh; You are great, and great is Your name in might.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, “Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I return their fortunes, ‘Yahweh bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!’

“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although Yahweh was there,

“Inasmuch as you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will happen in the future; so the dream is certain, and its interpretation is trustworthy.”
