Psalm 37:3

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in Yahweh.

Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.

O Israel, trust in Yahweh; He is their help and their shield.

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.

“When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will lift all of them up, And a breath will take them away. But he who takes refuge in Me will inherit the land And will possess My holy mountain.”

So Johanan the son of Kareah and all the commanders of the military forces and all the people did not listen to the voice of Yahweh to stay in the land of Judah.
