Psalm 33:10

“He frustrates the thoughts of the crafty, So that their hands cannot attain success of sound wisdom.

His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; In that very day his plans perish.

Many thoughts are in a man’s heart, But it is the counsel of Yahweh that will stand.

Causing the omens of boasters to be annulled, And making fools out of diviners, Causing wise men to turn back, And making foolishness out of their knowledge,

“I will empty out the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem to the point of destruction in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hand of those who seek their life; and I will give over their carcasses as food for the birds of the sky and the beasts of the earth.

Who is there who speaks and it happens, Unless the Lord has commanded it?
