Psalm 29:3

Now Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, and the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But Yahweh thundered with a great thunder on that day against the Philistines and confused them, so that they were defeated before Israel.

“Yahweh thundered from heaven, And the Most High gave forth His voice.

“Listen closely to the thunder of His voice, And the rumbling that goes out from His mouth.

“Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?

Yahweh also thundered in the heavens, And the Most High gave forth His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.

At Your rebuke they fled, At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away in alarm.

When He gives forth His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses.

And he said, “Hear me, brothers and fathers! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,

and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. And when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.
