Psalm 28:7

But You, O Yahweh, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.

Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Of David. Give justice to me, O Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity, And I have trusted in Yahweh; I will not waver.

For our heart is glad in Him, Because we trust in His holy name.

For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

I will praise the name of God with song And magnify Him with thanksgiving.

See our shield, O God, And look upon the face of Your anointed.

On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.

My lovingkindness and my fortress, My stronghold and my deliverer, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.
