Psalm 19:7

“You shall keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

“Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them upright judgments and true laws, Good statutes and commandments.

As for God, His way is blameless; The word of Yahweh is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

For He established a testimony in Jacob And set a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they should teach them to their children,

Your testimonies are very faithful; Holiness befits Your house, O Yahweh, forevermore.

The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are faithful.

Yahweh keeps the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.

The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.

In righteousness, You have commanded Your testimonies And in exceeding faithfulness.

To give prudence to the simple, To the youth knowledge and discretion;
