Psalm 18:39

“The bows of the mighty are shattered, But those who stumble gird on strength.

“And I have been with you wherever you have gone and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth.

And David spoke to Yahweh the words of this song in the day that Yahweh delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

The God who girds me with strength And makes my way blameless?

My lovingkindness and my fortress, My stronghold and my deliverer, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.

“I am Yahweh, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me,

“Why are your mighty ones thrown down? They do not stand because Yahweh has thrust them down.
