Psalm 104:9

Then God said, “Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.

“Or who enclosed the sea with doors When, bursting forth, it went out from the womb,

And I placed boundaries on it And set a bolt and doors,

When He set for the sea its boundary So that the water would not pass over His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth;

‘Do you not fear Me?’ declares Yahweh. ‘Do you not tremble in My presence? For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, A perpetual statute, so it cannot cross over it. Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion And overturns the shadow of death into morning, Who also darkens day into night, Who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the surface of the earth, Yahweh is His name.
