Proverbs 19:5

“You shall not bear a false report; do not join your hand with a wicked man to be a malicious witness.

then you shall do to him just as he had intended to do to his brother. Thus you shall purge the evil from among you.

And he said to him, “I also am a prophet like you, and an angel spoke to me by the word of Yahweh, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’” But he dealt falsely with him.

On account of their wickedness, will they have an escape? In anger, bring down the peoples, O God!

A false witness who breathes out lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.

A faithful witness will not lie, But a false witness breathes out lies.

A false witness will not go unpunished, And he who breathes out lies will perish.

A false witness will perish, But the man who listens will speak forever.
