Proverbs 17:15

They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.

It is also not good to punish the righteous, Nor to strike the noble for their uprightness.

To show partiality to the wicked is not good, Nor to thrust aside the righteous in judgment.

He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” Peoples will curse him, nations will be indignant with him;

Lest he drink and forget what is decreed, And pervert the justice of all the afflicted.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

To deprive a man of justice In the presence of the Most High,
