Proverbs 16:32

“Are not Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in wrath.

He who is slow to anger has great discernment, But he who is quick-tempered raises up folly.

A man’s insight makes him slow to anger, And it is his honor to overlook a transgression.
