Proverbs 15:8

‘So if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings should ever be eaten on the third day, he who brings it near will not be accepted, and it will not be counted to his benefit. It shall be an offensive thing, and the person who eats of it will bear his own iniquity.

What the wicked dreads will come upon him, But the desire of the righteous will be granted.

To do righteousness and justice Is chosen by Yahweh over sacrifice.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination, How much more when he brings it with a wicked scheme!

He who turns away his ear from listening to the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.

Guard your steps as you go to the house of God and draw near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools; for they do not know they are doing evil.

Then Haggai answered and said, “‘So is this people. And so is this nation before Me,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and so is every work of their hands; and what they bring near to Me there is unclean.
