Proverbs 15:27

“And you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of the just.

So are the paths of everyone who is greedy for gain; It takes away the life of its possessors.

He who troubles his own house will inherit wind, And the ignorant fool will be a slave to the wise of heart.

Do not weary yourself to gain wealth, Because of your understanding, cease!

But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
