Nahum 1:9

and then you will say, ‘Just so shall Babylon sink down and not rise again because of the calamity that I am going to bring upon her; and they will become utterly weary.’” Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

“Thus says Lord Yahweh, ‘A calamitous evil, a unique calamitous evil, behold, it is coming!

“Thus all flesh will know that I, Yahweh, have brought out My sword from its sheath. It will not return to its sheath again.”’

Although I disciplined and strengthened their arms, Yet they devise evil against Me.

From you has gone forth One who devised evil against Yahweh, A vile counselor.
