Matthew 6:25

‘But as for you, are you seeking great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I am going to bring calamity on all flesh,’ declares Yahweh, ‘but I will give your life to you as spoil in all the places where you may go.’”

“And which of you by worrying can add a single cubit to his life span?

“And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,

“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’

“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

“But when they deliver you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given to you in that hour what you are to say.

But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things,

“Now when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say,

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
