Matthew 4:10

“But you shall serve Yahweh your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.

“Yahweh your God you shall fear; and Him you shall serve; and by His name you shall swear.

Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you are to return to Yahweh with all your heart, then remove the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you and set your hearts toward Yahweh and serve Him alone; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.”

And you will defile your graven images overlaid with your silver, and your molten images plated with your gold. You will scatter them as an impure thing and say to them, “Be gone!”

“And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?

But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”

“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

And He was in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan; and He was with the wild beasts, and the angels were ministering to Him.

And He called them to Himself and began speaking to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?

“And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but he is finished!

“And these are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown: when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.

But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and *said, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”

And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

And Jesus answered and said to him, “It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”

And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning.

“But if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.

“And this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for—behold—eighteen years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, who belonged to the number of the twelve.

“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift all of you like wheat.

And after the piece of bread, Satan then entered into him. Therefore Jesus *said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land?

to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself!

For we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, more than once—and yet Satan hindered us.

whose coming is in accord with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,

for some have already turned aside after Satan.

‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

‘I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
